Suburban Sponsors Orange Party at 2025 Koningsdag Festival

Suburban joined over 600 revellers in celebrating the 2025 Koningsdag party held at the Carnivore's Simba Salon. Koningsdag – also known as King’s Day – is a national holiday in the Netherlands that celebrates King Willem-Alexander’s birthday. 


It’s also considered a day of celebrating Dutch culture and national pride, with most citizens taking part in one way or another. The event was organised by the Dutch community in Kenya and attended by nearly 600 people, mostly dutch nationals with their friends and family.


Dignitaries included some high ranking members of the dutch diplomatic community as well as the dutch ambassador to Kenya, Mr. Henk Jan Bakker as well as senior senior management of dutch owned international and local companies operating in Kenya. 


Suburban was among the long list of sponsors, which also included companies such as: KLM, Heineken, Rabobank, Bio Foods, SGA Security, Dojo Wellness Club, who made the event possible through financial as well as in-kind sponsorships.
